About Us
The Prosper Ladies Association (PLA) provides opportunities to serve the people and needs of our community. PLA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and we support children, families, first responders, and charitable organizations that serve the Prosper ISD area.
We have monthly meetings for women in downtown Prosper, September through May. Check out our Facebook page or website for information on dates, time, and location.
We support famiiles and children through scholarships, Summer Lunch, and Prosper Christmas Angels:
PLA provides Summer Lunch to more than 350 children each summer, ensuring they have lunch and breakfast for the duration of the summer break.
Through our Prosper Christmas Angel program, we provide Christmas to more than 300 children each year. We also have Senior Angels that can be adopted to bring comfort and much-needed gift cards to seniors in our community.
Scholarships are available for graduating seniors in PISD. We have needs-based scholarships and scholarships to recognize community service.
We celebrate our Prosper First Responders by hosting their annual awards banquets and fulfilling other needs that may occur.
Our annual fundraiser is the Boots and Bling gala. Boots and Bling is a night of dinner, dancing, open bar, silent and live auctions. Come out and help us raise funds to support our community!
