Scott’s passion is to call people to a God-centered vision that pervades all of life so that our souls would be satisfied in God’s greatness and joyfully obedient because of God’s grace.
Born and bred in Texas, Scott trusted Christ in 1985 and began preaching as a teenager where he graduated from Katy High School in 1989 in Katy, TX. In 1994, he earned a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Criswell College in Dallas, TX. Scott was ordained by Prestonwood Baptist Church in Houston, TX on January 18, 1997. In 2006, Scott earned his Master of Divinity at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (Atlanta campus). In July of 2020 he was voted in as Senior Pastor of FBC Prosper.
