An Evening with DocStars 2022 will take place on Thursday, November 3rd on the UT Southwestern Campus, and will be hosted by The Cary Council.
The Cary Council is dedicated to carrying on Dr. Edward H. Cary’s legacy to “inspire a great citizenship to greater deeds.” Guests will experience the future of medicine as they enjoy an evening under the stars with cutting-edge simulation technology and interactive innovation stations. Attendees of the event will savor gourmet bites and refreshing sips while supporting promising, early-stage biomedical research.
Funds raised from An Evening with DocStars 2022 will support the Cary Council Early-Stage Research Grants, which are awarded annually to investigators working on promising medical research. Finalists will be chosen by UT Southwestern faculty and the recipient(s) will be selected by the Cary Council. Funds raised since the 2017 inaugural event have enabled the Cary Council to give nine substantial grants to young researchers to further their work, resulting in $6.8 million in additional funding.
