DESCRIPTION:Since launching Shred Day DFW in 2011 with our event partner Iron Mountain\, we have helped North Texans securely destroy and recycle over 3.9 million pounds of sensitive paper documents\, helping keep that information out of the hands of dumpster divers and local landfills. In the process\, our generous guests have helped us raise over $185\,000 and 100\,000-plus pounds of food for the North Texas Food Bank\, which is equivalent to providing more than 646\,000 meals for hungry North Texans. On Saturday\, April 12\, we'll be hosting our 13th annual Shred Day DFW at Mercer Business Park\, at the northwest corner of I-35E and I-635. The event is free and open to the public\, and there is no limit to how much paper you can bring! Consumers and business owners may bring any amount of personal or business paper documents\, and we'll destroy and recycle them securely and efficiently. There are countless sources of personally identifiable information around the home and office. If there's ever a doubt\, have it professionally shredded. The financial and reputational risk of having an identity stolen is too great to not put in the little bit of extra effort it takes to shred a document. And the peace of mind is priceless.
